REGISTRATION

 

We have made some changes to our registration and payment routines. This is to ensure we get all the information we need about you as participant - right from the time you register.

 

To register you need to download the registration form, on which most fields are compulsory, i.e. you MUST complete them. The process will take a little time so before you start you must have the following information about yourself at the ready:

 

  • First name
  • Surname
  • Address
  • Country
  • Sex
  • Phone number
  • E-mail address
  • Date of birth
  • Track record/CV (As race organisers and race spectators we want to know more about you as a rider, so here you can note down the races you have taken part in, what your ranking is, what your ambitions are, etc)
  • Website (this field is not mandatory)
  • Bike (model and year, this is for planning for the technical vehicle)
  • Local newspaper (before/during the race we wish to be able to send updates about the race to your local paper)
  • Relation (if anything should happen to you during the race, it is very important we should know who to contact)
  • Relations phone (as above)
  • Health info (we have to know if you have any kind of (food) allergy, diabetes, epilepsy or other condition )

In addition, you must upload a picture of yourself, preferably a portrait shot.

 

Race package

Next you must choose which race package you wish to register for. We have four different race packages:

  • All inclusive package
  • All inclusive package luxury
  • Race only package
  • Race only package luxury

Class

You can choose between age class and elite class. To participate in the elite class you must be among the 500 best in the Merida Race Rankings or the 300 best in the Norwegian Cycling Federation’s MTB Rankings.

 

License

All riders must have a valid licence issued by the National Cycling Federation (NCF) affiliated to UCI. If you have no licence you may buy a one-off licence on registration.

 

Payment

Payment is by debit/credit card once you have registered. The price is calculated automatically and you will be transferred to our payments solution, PayEx, where you can pay with VISA or MasterCard.
