In addition to short XC-races, I've participated in several long distance races such as Trans Alp, Salzkammergut Trophy and recently; offroadfinnmark. It's the greatest MTB experience I've ever had. I was given a dispensation to ride solo on the condition that I could not win any prizes regardless of time results. The race is extreme and I recommend it to anyone in search of the ultimate challenge - the in Alta have done an outstanding job! Unanimous praise to the Alta hosts for how the event was organized!
